Employees often highlight the company's financial health, strong reputation in the federal market, and the opportunity to be part of meaningful projects that directly support national missions.Job Description Superintendent - Federal Construction - Navy Yard w/ Future Travel will perform:Enforce all site safety policies and immediately address any safety violations involving employees, subcontractors, or vendorsLead all day-to-day field operations on site, including manpower coordination and subcontractor managementMaintain strict compliance with USACE EM385-1-1 safety requirements and ensure safe work practices are followed at all timesExecute the project using the company's established Quality Management System, ensuring field work aligns with plans/specsSet production goals with trade partners and ensure expectations are communicated, monitored, and met in the fieldDevelop the project schedule alongside the Sr. Project Manager; provide monthly updates to track progress and adjust for delays/opportunitiesCreate and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and ensure subcontractors plan work accordinglyCoordinate daily with the Sr. PM, Safety Manager, and PE while leading all field sequencing, logistics, and problem-solvingManage site documentation such as daily reports, manpower logs, delivery logs, and relevant field paperworkEnsure the site remains organized, safe, and ready for inspections at all timesLead subcontractor meetings, pre-task planning discussions, and ensure alignment with schedule prioritiesMonitor workmanship, installation methods, and production rates to proactively address issues before they impact the scheduleMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
