This Superintendent role is ideal for someone who thrives on fast-moving ground-up projects and detailed interior build-outs. You'll step into two active projects - a ground-up retail building and a medical office interior with slab pour, MRI room, and exam room construction. No healthcare experience needed, just similar project exposure and the ability to hit the ground running. .
  • Build ground-up projects ($10M-$15M) with a stable local GC
  • Immediate assignment: $2M ground-up retail + $8M medical office build-out

Job Description

  • Lead field operations for ground-up and interior build-out projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, sequencing, site logistics, and quality control.
  • Manage daily reporting, scheduling, inspections, and materials.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to drive budget, schedule, and safety.
  • Oversee slab work, framing, and specialty room build-outs (MRI and exam rooms).
  • Utilize Procore and Bluebeam for documentation and project tracking.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-10+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial ground-up or build-out work.
  • Strong background in small to mid-sized projects ($2M-$15M range).
  • Able to take over active projects and run them with minimal handholding.
  • Experience with slab work, interior build-outs, or retail/mid-size commercial.
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling tools.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
