Superintendents on their team are highly involved in the construction process from conception through delivery.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent will oversee the following:Collaborate alongside Project Manager, both reporting directly to Project ExecutiveActs as chief problem solver on all design issues where applicableApproves subcontractor agreementsAssists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities and submittals.Is responsible for project schedule updates and managementDemonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codesIs responsible for material delivery schedules and implementing change managementCommunicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved partiesSupports the development of team member competencies and skill setsIs responsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC and project closeoutParticipates in preconstruction meetings with subcontractorsChairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetingsWalks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progressIs responsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documentsReviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditionsSupports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safetyIs responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programsProvides constructability reviews for each set of progress drawingsReviews soils reportsConducts pre-award meetings with all major scopes of workManages permits and inspectionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
