Our client is looking for an experienced up-and-coming Superintendent for an exciting project and long-term growth with the organization. The Superintendent II should be self-motivated and able to operate undependable while also being capable of being lead and developed further, as this person reports to and is supported by the Senior Superintendent.

They tackle large, luxury multifamily, as well as partner with Universities across the region to complete campus projects. They also handle a broad range of other commercial work as needed. Job Description

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience with ground-up Commercial or Multifamily projects
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent / Assistant Superintendent is required
  • Ability to read and understand plans.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Southeast long-term
  • Capable of problem solving and experience with complex detailed projects.
  • Ability to work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerned with their construction projects.
  • Technical savvy individual - Procore is utilized onsite
  • Candidate should be able to operate independently while utilizing Senior Superintendent for support and guidance when needed
  • Desire to grow with the company
