Job Description

The Superintendent - Interior Renovations/Higher Ed - Baltimore, MD will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing on-site operations and managing subcontractor activities.
  • Ensuring quality control by confirming all work meets specifications, codes, and industry standards.
  • Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to comply with regulations and foster a safe work environment.
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, addressing concerns, and providing regular progress updates.
  • Managing materials and equipment by monitoring inventory levels and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and
  • supplies.
  • Documenting completed tasks and tracking budgets to ensure accountability.
  • Supervising the commissioning process, including system testing, troubleshooting, and handover, to ensure proper functionality

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent - Interior Renovations/Higher Ed - Baltimore, MD will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, particularly in interior renovation or higher education/K-12 projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of interior construction systems, relevant codes, and industry standards.
  • Required certifications include OSHA and First Aid/CPR.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Proven ability to quickly identify problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating large-scale construction projects is necessary
