Job Description

Review project plans, specifications, and construction schedules.
Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Develop and implement construction schedules and time lines.

Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
Monitor progress and ensure adherence to project schedule and budget.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality control measures.
Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for construction crew.
Maintain accurate records of all construction activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and safety inspections.
Prepare and submit reports to project managers and stakeholders as required
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, permits, and regulations
Facilitate smooth transition and handover of the completed project to the client.

The Successful Applicant

Experience as a Superintendent for a general contractor
Minimum 5 years experience as a superintendent in the commercial construction industry
Experience leading a field team and collaborating with management
Strong leadership skills to effectively oversee on-site activities and coordinate subcontractors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with diverse teams of stakeholders
Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Commitment to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations
