Job Description

On-Site Leadership: Direct all daily field operations, ensuring subcontractors adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and the master schedule.
Project Administration: Manage RFI processes, submittals, and change orders while maintaining accurate project logs and documentation.
Schedule Management: Develop and update detailed project schedules (Gantt charts) to ensure timely delivery of multi-million dollar developments.
Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, review subcontractor invoices, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for architects, engineers, and municipal inspectors to resolve technical bottlenecks.
Procurement: Coordinate the delivery and staging of long-lead materials to prevent site downtime.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who is as comfortable in steel-toed boots as they are behind a laptop. You should possess:

Experience: 7+ years of experience in ground-up commercial construction.
Versatility: A proven track record of managing site safety while simultaneously handling the paperwork side of project management.
Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of New Jersey building codes and a reliable network of regional subcontractors.
Communication: The ability to communicate firmly with trades while providing professional, high-level updates to ownership.
