Job Description

As the Superintendent - Commercial Construction, you will lead daily site operations and report directly to the Project Manager. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards.
Key duties include:

  • Oversee all onsite construction activities and subcontractor performance
  • Manage project schedules, workflow, and sequencing of trades
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are met
  • Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and field teams
  • Maintain accurate site reporting and daily logs
  • Serve as on-site point of contact for clients and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent - Commercial Construction position, we are seeking:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial or public-sector construction
  • Background in K-12, municipal, office, government, or similar projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, safety, and quality control
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain effective communication
  • Proficiency with construction management tools and reporting practices
  • Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities
