Job Description

  • Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate the efforts of subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and SCA requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any potential issues, delays, or risks to the project timeline.
  • Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy in execution.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and quality.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and safety logs.
  • Ensure effective communication between all project team members and stakeholders.

As a Superintendent, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is particularly focused on public sector projects, especially with the School Construction Authority (SCA), making a significant impact on NYC's educational infrastructure.

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent, particularly in managing SCA or public sector construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
