They have a high emphasis on company culture and work life balance and are looking to bring on an experienced Civil Superintendent to join their Mechanical Division that focuses on Water/Waste-water.Job DescriptionOversee all on-site activities for heavy industrial and wastewater projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.Team Supervision: Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators, ensuring efficient and effective performance.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.Inspection Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate inspections by regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
