Job Description

  • Oversee daily construction site operations in Quakertown, PA, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely milestone completion.
  • Monitor project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to design plans.
  • Address and resolve construction issues and conflicts.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, architects, engineers, and school administrators.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports on timelines, budgets, and project status.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in K-12 school construction or similar commercial projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
