Job Description

Description
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Layout and manage all work.
- Review contract documents to develop appropriate construction methods and construction sequencing.
- Oversee projects to maintain compliance with construction safety codes and other regulatory requirements.
- Prepare daily project reports for construction activities.
- Coordinate with project team and building trades for the preparation and processing of project documentation, including, but not limited to submittals, RFI's and Change Order requests.
- Schedule and meet with inspectors throughout the project.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.

The Successful Applicant
Education/Skills Required:
- Seven years minimum experience in general construction, with emphasis on high end residential projects preferred.
- Strong ability to manage and layout all subcontractors' work.
- Excellent hands-on construction skills, with strong carpentry skills a plus.
- Knowledge of construction related technologies, quality assurance, quality control and auditing.
- Knowledge of construction software is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand construction documents, schedules, and cost reports.
- History of completing projects within a budget and on schedule.

Education/Credentials:
All education is beneficial. Preference given to candidates with construction related education and/or formal training.
