The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, supply chain management, and manufacturing operations.Job DescriptionData Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings to management with actionable recommendations.Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence.Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast demand and develop strategies to meet production schedules and customer requirements.Supplier Performance: Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and cost. Work with procurement to address any issues and support vendor negotiations.Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in supply chain operations. Propose and implement solutions to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve lead times.Technology Utilization: Leverage ERP and other supply chain management tools to streamline operations and ensure data accuracy. Provide insights into system upgrades or implementations as needed.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance teams to align supply chain operations with business goals.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure supply chain activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantEducation: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Technical Skills:Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) and advanced Excel skills.Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and aptitude for working with large datasets.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.What's on OfferMarket competitive compensation plan with great benefits.
