The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient procurement, production scheduling, inventory management, logistics, and distribution while maintaining cost efficiency and meeting customer requirements.Job DescriptionStrategic Planning:Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and supplier capabilities to anticipate business needs.Procurement and Vendor Management:Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.Production and Inventory Management:Collaborate with production and operations teams to create efficient production schedules and optimize inventory levels.Implement inventory control processes to minimize waste and reduce carrying costs.Logistics and Distribution:Manage transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.Optimize shipping routes and methods to improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a cross-functional supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.Generate reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and present actionable recommendations to senior management.Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and company policies.Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supplier networks or logistics.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
