Job Description

Supply Chain Strategy

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational excellence.
  • Monitor global supply chain trends and identify opportunities for innovation and risk mitigation.
  • Establish and track KPIs to measure supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.



Procurement and Vendor Management

  • Oversee supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Develop strategies to optimize supplier performance and reduce supply chain risks.



Inventory and Demand Planning

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Oversee demand forecasting and production planning to meet customer requirements efficiently.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.



Logistics and Distribution

  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Optimize distribution networks to improve delivery times and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.



Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and transparency.



Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and cost savings.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to improve decision-making and operational performance.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management or related roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.



Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and lead.
  • Knowledge of lean methodologies, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.
