This role involves optimizing processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving efficiency to support business objectives while minimizing costs. The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics and supply chain activities to deliver products on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.Job DescriptionStrategic Planning:Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's business goals.Forecast demand and create procurement plans to ensure optimal inventory levels.Logistics & Operations:Oversee all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.Optimize logistics routes and shipping methods to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.Supplier Management:Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to achieve cost efficiencies.Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality or delivery.Inventory Management:Manage inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.Implement inventory control systems and tools for accurate tracking.Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor the supply chain team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and finance.Data Analysis & Reporting:Use data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.Prepare reports on supply chain performance, KPIs, and cost analysis for leadership review.Risk Management:Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.Monitor market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
