Leading Cosmetics Company

Job Description

  • Maintain data-driven Excel reports with multiple sources of data including but not limited to purchase orders, forecasts and inventory
  • Monitor inventory by SKU through a detailed database of stock and sales across multiple warehouses
  • Drive production order placement to meet demand/forecasts within constraints of inventory goals
  • Establish supply plan to determine the appropriate quantity, receipt date, and warehouse location to support customer demand
  • Review and analyze the impact of forecast revisions to supply plan
  • Work closely with Demand Planning Manager to ensure accurate inventory plans
  • Identify potential out of stocks and excess inventory levels
  • Reduce product obsolescence through inventory review including expiration dates
  • Assign appropriate receiving warehouse for inbound shipments for Import Logistics Manager to arrange shipments
  • Work closely with the Import Logistics Manager to determine accurate lead times based on current supply chain challenges, when determining in-warehouse dates for inventory purchase orders
  • Communicate inventory availability and stock levels in cross-functional meetings
  • Establish and maintain safety stock levels in all facilities and propose domestic inventory transfers (as needed)

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 3+ years relevant experience required; supply planning in an omnichannel supply chain
  • Knowledge of, and experience with demand planning, supply planning and inventory management techniques, processes and policies
  • Experience in the cosmetics, personal care industries preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Prior experience working with planning and inventory management tools (Netsuite, etc.) is preferred
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment
