Job Description

  • Manage, monitor, and maintain the firm's IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network equipment.
  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure peak performance and data security.
  • Respond promptly to technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide end-user support.
  • Maintain secure and stable network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless systems.
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to safeguard sensitive financial data and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Install, configure, and manage enterprise software and applications used across the firm.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of new tools and technologies.
  • Provide training and technical documentation to staff as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in IT administration, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Strong understanding of networking principles (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Azure, or AWS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is advantageous.
