Job Description
Key Responsibilities of the Systems Engineer Include:
- Responsible for the provision and maintenance of virtual and physical servers, managed by Puppet
- Optimize AWS storage and instance sizing
- Report on AWS costs
- Provision cloud resources in AWS with IaC
- Support the full life cycle of systems and applications from provisioning to decommissioning
- Partake in Infrastructure project initiatives including: capacity planning, security and compliance audit and remediation, and R&D
- Troubleshoot any system errors

The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of working experience in System Engineering
- 2+ years of working experience with KVM, Xen, VMWare, or other virtualization technologies
- Proficient understanding on permissions including user and group ownership, permissions and masks, and limits
- Experience with system performance tuning including disk, and kernel optimizations
- Master in HTTP, DNS, and TCP
Is a Bonus:

- Network experience - Etherchannel, BGP, OSPF
