  • Demonstrate expert level of understanding of the business recruiting needs by participating in macro calls, being aware of changes within the industry, acting as a subject matter expert for areas of recruiting responsibility as well as managing hiring manager/candidate expectations; provide meaningful market data as needed.
  • Full life cycle recruitment from sourcing to completion
  • Proactively share innovative solutions to add value, anticipate needs, and streamline the process for the hiring team
  • Evaluate, interview and present qualified candidates to hiring managers and solicit feedback on candidates to refine recruiting strategy as applicable
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience with frequent and timely communication throughout recruitment process, share manager feedback and appropriately disposition all candidates
  • Understand diversity goals and provide education to hiring managers to ensure and present a diverse candidate slate
  • Establish a rapport and partner with the appropriate stakeholders for candidate development and offers

The Successful Applicant


  • BA or BS degree
  • 8-10+ year's experience in full life cycle recruiting at a fast-paced corporate environment or search firm focused on financial services (preferably Investment or Asset Management)
  • Prior experience working for a search firm, coupled with corporate experience is preferred
  • Name generation, networking and relationship building skills; knowledge of compensation packages across different competitors and industries and the ability to negotiate complex compensation packages
  • High level of comfort with direct sourcing and the ability to sell currently employed potential candidates on opportunities within the firm
  • Strong project management experience with ability to manage complex assignments and multiple searches while delivering the highest level of client service; results oriented
  • Inter-personally effective and comfortable interacting with employees at all levels
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Strong executive presence; experience handling sensitive/confidential information
