Job Description

  • Develop and oversee talent development programs, including new associate training and mentorship initiatives.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders to identify training needs and create tailored learning solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and seminars to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent development programs, making improvements as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in professional development.
  • Manage relationships with external training vendors to ensure high-quality program delivery.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership showcasing program outcomes and insights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Talent Development Specialist should have:

  • At least three years of Talent Development, Professional Development, or Learning & Development within a law firm (required).
  • Bachelors degree (required).
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage employees effectively.
  • Proven ability to design and implement impactful training programs.
  • Knowledge of best practices and trends in the legal industry.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Ability to work onsite four days a week in Manhattan.
