Tax Associate - NYC - Financial Services

• • Partner with tax team and outside service providers on a variety of matters relating to the annual tax compliance process:
  • Management company tax compliance and related information filings (1099's etc)
  • K-1 issuance
  • US International Filings: 5471's, 8621's, 8865's, FBAR's, 8938's
  • indirect tax compliance items
  • Tax notices and payments
  • Facilitate administrative items (ie EL's, SOW's, etc) with third party service providers
  • Liaise with members of the fund accounting and corporate FP&A teams on additional tax compliance matters and special projects.
  • Assist with the management company entities, corporate and indirect taxes of the fund and management companies, commercial rent tax, sales and use tax returns, and VAT taxes.
  • Assist tax team members with the monthly tax estimates and presentation meetings to senior management.
