This approach helps clients improve sales performance, foster customer loyalty, and drive profitability.Job DescriptionOversee and review the consolidated quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including managing the worldwide effective tax rate, deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, and related tax disclosures.Prepare and document quarterly tax provision memoranda.Ensure compliance with internal controls, including SOX documentation and processes, while working with external service providers and auditors.Manage tax reporting related to M&A transactions, ensuring appropriate purchase accounting and compliance across all tax areas.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the tax provision and compliance functions.Lead the preparation of global interim and year-end tax provisions, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.Coordinate the preparation of tax account reconciliations as needed.Gather data and prepare schedules for tax and financial statement auditors, ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams and external parties.Conduct ongoing tax research to ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations.Manage and lead the Direct Tax function, aligning it with broader tax strategies and organizational goals.Contribute to various special projects and tax initiatives as needed.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
