Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts; also prepare related income tax work papers
  • Prepare correspondence to taxing authorities
  • Work closely with team on a variety of engagements
  • Effectively communicate status of work and issues with upper management on a timely basis
  • Develop strong relationships with colleagues

The Successful Applicant

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Should be preparing for or already passed the CPA examination
  • 1 to 2 years of accounting firm experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting
  • Ability to effectively utilize firm technology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
