Be part of a team where field insight meets technical expertise.Job DescriptionPrepare cost estimates for transmission (69-345 kV) and distribution (12-35 kV) projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.Review engineering drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications to develop accurate quantity take-offs.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to assess constructability and identify potential challenges.Perform vendor and subcontractor pricing analysis and coordinate bid packages.Conduct site visits and field assessments to verify existing conditions and support estimate accuracy.Maintain and update historical cost databases and assist with bid tracking.Ensure estimates meet client requirements, schedules, and budgetary constraints.Support value engineering efforts to optimize project cost and efficiency.Typical Projects:Transmission line construction or rebuilds (69-345 kV).Distribution feeder extensions and urban underground systems (12-35 kV).Substation upgrades and tie-ins for utilities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
