They are a remote comapny but operate in many of the major US ports and provide complete shipping solutions for Africa, Middle East, South America and Asia.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Prospect and identify new business opportunities within targeted industries. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the supply chain space.Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers in businesses of all sizes. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle, from initial inquiry to post-sale support.Identify and understand customer needs to recommend tailored supply chain solutions, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and logistics. Use consultative sales techniques to position products and services that will provide optimal customer benefit.Stay current on supply chain trends, market dynamics, and product offerings. Provide insightful recommendations based on your understanding of customer needs, industry challenges, and our supply chain solutions.Deliver engaging presentations to prospective clients, addressing their unique needs. Lead contract negotiations and close deals while maintaining profitability.Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and progress in the CRM system. Provide regular sales forecasts and updates to leadership.Work closely with sales support, marketing, and solutions engineering teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and ensure customer satisfaction.
