Job Description

Responsibilities for Technical Sales Representative Include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective mining customers in the Minneapolis region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining industry.
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Conduct on-site visits and technical assessments of customer facilities.
  • Develop and present proposals that effectively demonstrate the value of our industrial equipment to customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other members of the sales team to meet sales targets and achieve company goals.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to promote our products and services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to existing customers.
  • Responsible for aftermarket sales including site installation, working hands on with tools, equipment servicing, basic design protocol, and collecting site information to turn into actionable insights for business.

The Successful Applicant


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 2-10 years of experience in technical sales of industrial equipment, preferably to mining companies.
  • Knowledge of mining equipment and processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the region up to 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
