This firm clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers and refiners, as well as risk and compliance managers and charities.

Job Description

  • Monitor trade flow and ensure post-trade processes are functioning from Middle Office and Back office applications along with messaging to the settlement depositories such as FICC, MBSCC, NSCC and Trace.
  • Responsible for manual input of tickets and allocations into various Trade Management systems, as appropriate. Process post trade amendments.
  • Serve as a liaison between brokers, client back offices and settlement teams to resolve trade breaks.
  • Sending clients confirms intra-day and daily end of day recaps in a timely manner.
  • Monitor positions within Middle Office, Back Office and 3rd party clearer applications.
  • Ensure that various intra-day and intra-month actions are undertaken, to ensure trades are processed, reconciled and invoiced as intended.
  • Ensure and evidence oversight of any regular intra-day, Intra-week, or intra-month tasks, necessary to ensure that our trades are managed as appropriate.
  • Handle audit requests from internal and external auditors
  • Overtime may be required as requested and approved by manager.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 3+ years' experience with excellent knowledge FICC, MBSCC and NSCC settlements, Trace reporting
  • and awareness of timely settlement risk.
  • Series 99 or equivalent required.Excellent communication and organization skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Office
  • Dependable team player with high attention to detail and time sensitive material.
