About Our Client
My client is one of the top restaurant developer and franchisee in the country. They have built over 500 restaurants since they were created a little over 6 years ago, with the goal of building 1500 more restaurants in the next 5 years. They have quickly built a strong reputation in the areas in which they operate including Cincinnati. The person that they would bring on would be one of two Construction Managers who would represent the owners on a variety of Ground-Up and Tenant Improvement projects. Their current projects are all local to Ohio, but future projects could be anywhere in the country.

Description
- Oversee Ground Up and Remodel construction projects from start to completion
- Involvement in Budgeting, Scope of Work walks, Pre-Bid Mtgs, Pre-Con Mtgs, Onsite visits, Punchlist walks etc
- Be the point of contact for all General Contractor and Superintendent Needs
- Ensure that GC's meet contractual conditions of performance. Change order mgmt
- Schedule, attend and participate in Pre-Development, P&Z meetings with city officials, executive team, Architects and Civil teams when needed
- Coordinate the efforts of all team members, including architect, engineers, consultants, contractors, and property management personnel to successfully achieve goals
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with capable contractors to ensure safe efficient, timely, and quality of work.
- Work directly with Marketing & Operations teams during remodels/ground ups to ensure a smooth and successful operational opening
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 7 years of related construction experience
- A bachelor degree preferably in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
- Effective communication skills to motivate your team.
- Negotiation Skills Required
- The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings on site.
