Job Description

As the Traveling Superintendent, you will report to senior operations leadership and take full ownership of site execution on ground‑up correctional facilities.

  • Lead day‑to‑day field operations from mobilization through close‑out
  • Oversee schedules, site logistics, safety, and quality control
  • Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and municipal stakeholders
  • Enforce safety programs and maintain a zero‑incident culture
  • Drive schedule adherence and resolve field issues proactively
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to manage scope and sequencing
  • Represent the company professionally with owners and public agencies

The Successful Applicant

For the Traveling Superintendent role we are seeking:

  • Proven experience delivering ground‑up correctional or detention facilities
  • Background on large public‑sector or municipal construction projects
  • Experience managing projects valued from $5 million to $100 million+
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, safety, and quality control processes
  • Ability to travel extensively and lead teams across multiple sites
  • Proficiency with construction software such as Procore and Microsoft Project
