Job Description

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for ground-up big-box projects.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project timelines.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns.
Maintain accurate documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
Proactively identify and resolve potential challenges to avoid project delays.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment on the construction site.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent - Ground Up Big-Box should have:

Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects, particularly big-box retail.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
Ability to travel extensively to oversee projects at various locations.
Problem-solving skills to address challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
Familiarity with project management software and tools for scheduling and documentation.
