Job Description

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will oversee all on-site activities for large light industrial projects such as food processing facilities, distribution centers, and cold storage buildings. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily field operations and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensuring safety compliance and quality control
  • Maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Communicating with project managers, clients, and inspectors
  • Leading site meetings and resolving field issues proactively

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor
  • Must have completed at least one light industrial project from start to finish
  • (e.g., food processing facility, distribution center, or cold storage)
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
