- Analyze and interpret construction plans and conduct material takeoff
- Create and maintain a project schedule
- Negotiate and approve subcontractors for any given project
- Examine drawings and blueprints for discrepancies or issues
- Ensure a safe work environment when visiting construction sites
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting job costs, scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Review and explain engineering and architectural plans to all necessary construction staff
- Ensure successful completion and turnover of the project
The Successful Applicant
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelors degree in a construction-related field
- 5+ years as Superintendent
- Tech-savvy with strong software capabilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- "Client first" mentality
