Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
As the Traveling Construction Superintendent, you will serve as the onsite lead, partnering closely with project leadership to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality field operations. You will oversee jobsite execution, coordination, and schedule performance while maintaining a strong culture of safety and collaboration.

  • Champion an injury‑free jobsite culture and enforce all safety standards and protocols
  • Lead preconstruction planning, staffing coordination, and subcontractor onboarding
  • Manage daily field operations, sequencing, logistics, and material/equipment oversight
  • Develop and adjust project schedules in partnership with project management
  • Conduct quality inspections, document deficiencies, and drive timely resolution
  • Lead onsite coordination meetings and maintain field documentation in project systems
  • Oversee inspections, start‑up activities, and project closeout deliverables

The Successful Applicant

The Successful Applicant:
For the Traveling Construction Superintendent we are seeking:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent within HVAC, Electrical, or General Contracting environments
  • Strong knowledge of commercial mechanical and electrical systems
  • Demonstrated ability to read drawings, understand scopes, and manage contract compliance
  • Proven strengths in communication, documentation, safety leadership, and risk management
  • Experience problem‑solving onsite and motivating subcontractors to execute effectively
  • OSHA 30 certification and the ability to pass background checks for secure facilities
  • Willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S. (most projects located in CO, WA)

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of superintendent experience and familiarity with energy retrofit or facility renovation projects
  • Experience with design‑build or integrated project delivery models
  • Ability to anticipate and prevent field issues proactively
