Job Description

Responsibilities for a Commercial Construction Superintendent are:

  • Manage and supervise all aspects of commercial projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to project time-lines and budgets, while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, expenses, and materials.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements for a Commercial Construction Superintendent are:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, specifically in metal stud framing and drywall.
  • Must be open to traveling nationally
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
