Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports and schedules.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to resolve any issues or delays.
  • Coordinate and oversee material deliveries and equipment usage on-site.
  • Lead and motivate the construction team to achieve project objectives.
  • Ensure clear communication across all project participants to meet client expectations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

  • A proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • 3+ years of commercial construction experience in Superintendent role
  • Tenure in previous roles is a plus, especially where candidates have stayed through major project cycles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements in construction.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel nationally to different project sites.
  • Familiarity with construction software tools and technology (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, etc.)
