Job Description

  • Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and cash application
  • Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and vendor relations
  • Develop and maintain cash forecasting models to support cash management, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet the company's operational and strategic needs
  • Oversee the daily cash application process, ensuring timely and accurate application of cash receipts to customer accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and banks
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to promote growth and success within the team
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting and tax regulations
  • Work closely with the VP of Finance and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and other efficiencies within the finance function

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on AR, AP, cash forecasting, and cash applications
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and developing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, with experience using SAP preferred
