The ideal candidate is customer‑centric, communicative, and able to manage multiple project types from preconstruction through turnover while building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Job Description

  • Oversee project planning, procurement, scheduling, financials, and on‑site coordination.
  • Manage ground‑up and renovation projects across multiple markets in the $1M-$50M range.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
  • Lead project meetings with owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee project documentation: RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay apps, and closeout.
  • Support preconstruction activities when needed, including estimating input and value engineering.
  • Mentor junior team members and support a collaborative project environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Triad Commercial Project Manager should have:

  • Ideally 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager (open to slightly less or more).
  • Strong customer‑service mindset - someone who is client‑focused and relationship‑driven.
  • Experience with commercial, industrial, institutional, or interior upfit projects.
  • Not seeking multifamily‑only PM backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
  • Stable employment history with reputable general contractors.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Winston‑Salem, NC.
