Job Description

The Upfit Project Manager - Leading Carolinas GC - Triad will be responsible for:

  • Review plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Business Development/Estimating Upfit Projects
  • Initiate RFIs to resolve issues in the field and plan discrepancies
  • Process, review, and track submittals
  • Review design and shop drawings to evaluate the impact on the cost and schedule
  • Prepare Subcontractor scope of work letters
  • Initiate change orders to the Owner and solicit bids from Subcontractors
  • Perform estimates and compile cost breakdowns for the client to review
  • Maintain procurement, submittal, and RFI logs
  • Provide schedule assistance and track daily production
  • Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team

The Successful Applicant

The Upfit Project Manager - Leading Carolinas GC - Triad should have:

  • 5+ year's exp as a Construction Project Manager with a General Contractor
  • Experience as a PM overseeing Small Commercial projects is preferred - $100K-1M each
  • Business Development & Estimating experience on small projects
  • Effective communication skills to interface with both clients and field staff
  • Ability to effectively lead field operations
  • Applicable construction software experience is preferred
