Job Description

The Vendor Management Director will:

  • Regularly meet with clients to understand current and future business requirements. Provide sourcing programs that ensure all business needs are consistently met.
  • Work closely with Clients' Global Strategic Sourcing teams to review and plan procurement activities including identifying key vendors, compiling and managing all existing contracts and identifying potential new vendors.
  • Ensure that adequate Vendors and Subcontractors are available to address service needs within each specific service territory or region.
  • Recommend services to be contracted or re-bid to realize process improvements or cost savings.
  • Work with Clients' legal resources to draft standard vendor contracts consistent with Client Sourcing, Insurance, Legal and Risk Management established parameters, guidelines and requirements.
  • Manage RFP / Sourcing events, negotiating and recommending award of all third party contracts and upon approval, execute contracts according to established compliance and regulation requirements.
  • Provide periodical category analysis and strategy in order to assess market trends and savings opportunities along with performance. This includes but is not limited to Rate Card performance, Market Intelligence and Spend Analytics.
  • Oversee the provision of all Vendor goods and services ensuring the highest quality standard.
  • Ability to Travel up to 20%

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Strategic Procurement role
  • Clear understanding of sourcing strategies.
  • Experience with contract creation, compliance and management is a must.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
