They are actively seeking a Vice President of Construction.Please apply now for immediate consideration!Job DescriptionThis firm is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Construction to join their leadership team. This position will be pivotal in overseeing their expanding construction operations, focusing on NC DOT projects, and managing critical erosion control and seeding initiatives for high-profile civil projects. Reporting directly to the President, this role will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and leadership for their heavy civil construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across NC DOT and heavy civil projects with a focus on erosion control and seeding.Lead and manage project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to meet project goals, timelines, and budgets.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly NC DOT and other key stakeholders in the civil construction and highway sectors.Provide strategic input for project planning and execution, ensuring all projects comply with environmental sustainability and regulatory requirements.Manage fleet scheduling, equipment procurement, and logistics to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for construction operations.Mentor and develop junior staff and project managers to ensure professional growth and succession planning.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and improve project performance.Ensure adherence to company safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
