Strategic Planning and LeadershipDevelop and implement supply chain strategies: Oversee the creation and execution of short-term and long-term strategies for optimizing supply chain operations across multiple plants.Align with corporate goals: Ensure that the supply chain strategy supports broader company objectives, including revenue, cost control, and customer satisfaction.Set operational goals: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each plant and ensure alignment with company-wide goals.2. Supply Chain OptimizationInventory management: Oversee inventory control across plants, ensuring appropriate levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock.Cost reduction: Identify opportunities for cost savings within the supply chain and operational processes, including reducing waste, improving production methods, and negotiating with suppliers3. Team Management and DevelopmentLead and develop teams: Manage and mentor plant managers and other key operational staff to ensure that they are meeting performance targets and growing professionally.Performance management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.4. Quality Assurance and ComplianceEnsure regulatory compliance: Oversee plant operations to ensure adherence to environmental, safety, and labor regulations at all facilities.Quality control: Establish quality control systems across all plants to ensure that products meet both customer specifications and industry standards.Risk management: Identify risks in the supply chain and operational processes, developing strategies to mitigate them.5. Technology Integration and InnovationData-driven decision-making: Leverage analytics and data to monitor supply chain performance, forecast demand, and identify areas for improvement.Continuous improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and adopting best practices.6. Educational QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain Management or Operations) is often preferred for advanced leadership roles and may be required by some organizations.2. Experience15+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or manufacturing, with at least 5-10 years in a senior management or leadership role.Experience managing multiple plants or facilities, ideally in a complex, multi-site organization.Bilingual in Spanish and English a PLUSStrong background in end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and distribution.Proven track record of optimizing operational efficiency, driving cost reductions, and improving quality control across multiple locations.Experience in budgeting and financial management, including overseeing large operational budgets and cost-saving initiatives.3. Skills and CompetenciesLeadership: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams across multiple locations.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term, set a vision, and develop actionable plans to meet organizational objectives.Project Management: Ability to manage large-scale projects, including process improvements, plant expansions, or system implementations, across multiple plants.Technology Proficiency: Knowledge of advanced supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or other industry-specific tools), data analytics platforms, and automation tools.Process Improvement: Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost management, and financial forecasting.4. Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.5.
