They looking for an individual who works well as a team player with an innovative mindset.They have been in business for over 10 years and have seen outstanding growth in the last 2 years.Job DescriptionIn partnership with the divisional President, develop operational metrics and strategy to meet team goalsProvide leadership, mentoring, direction, and supervision to the Development Operations teamOversee the operations of the Development division, implementing and managing standard operating procedures, approval workflows, and efficient utilization of technology & systemsComplete review of proposed projects to include project entitlements, purchase agreements, and Proforma analysis, to ensure pursued projects meet the company's success criteria & align with strategyCommunicate and coordinate with owners, stakeholders, and other departments to define project requirements and constraints and create execution strategyOversee the project design process, confirming financial feasibility & constructability of design schemeSupport Developers in working with community members, government bodies and other interested parties to obtain necessary project permits during the entitlement and permitting processesIdentify project exposures and develop contingency plans to reduce and/or eliminate riskApprove, track, and manage the change order process for Development projectsManage the tracking and reporting of project status against goals, objectives, budget, and timelinesLead the budget process for Development projects and complete ongoing financial reviews to manage budget to actual variance and project marginsSupport Development team in managing external partners and fostering relationships with architects, engineers, and other consultantsLead research on local, state, and federal regulations that may impact development and new constructionSupport Developers with lead generation to maintain a successful project backlogPartner with Property Management & Construction leadership to identify operational and management issues and opportunities and benefits relating to development design and constructionParticipate in the identification, feasibility analysis and negotiation of real estate acquisitions & dispositionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
