VP Accounting & Corporate Services

Newly created VP Accounting and Corporate Services position. Our client is seeking a senior corporate finance and operations leader to serve as the operational backbone of a sophisticated, multi‑entity development platform. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role owns the company's financial controls, corporate governance, risk infrastructure, and essential corporate services.What You'll Lead

Financial Control & Reporting

• Oversee the general ledger, monthly close, and financial reporting for all entities
• Manage project accounting, CIP tracking, and development budget reporting
• Lead lender reporting, draw processes, and audit preparation

Project & Corporate Accounting Leadership

• Supervise project accountants and ensure accurate cost allocation
• Monitor committed costs, change orders, and cost‑to‑complete forecasts

Treasury & Cash Controls

• Manage AP, vendor payments, wire controls, and fraud prevention
• Maintain cash visibility, reserves, and funding schedules

Corporate Services & Governance

• Oversee HR (via PEO): payroll accuracy, benefits, compliance
• Coordinate tax and entity filings across all jurisdictions
• Manage outside counsel, corporate records, and JV documentation
• Oversee insurance programs, COIs, and lender compliance
• Liaise with IT MSP to ensure systems integrity and access controls

Audit, Compliance & Investor Readiness

• Keep all entities audit‑ready, lender‑compliant, and JV‑compliant
• Support audits, financial exams, and investor reporting cycles
