  • Provide acquisition leadership in deal origination, negotiation and due diligence process, including creation and review of financial and operational assumptions and pro-forma financial metrics (i.e. deal level cash on cash yields, net IRR to investors, etc.)
  • Synthesize large amounts of disparate information about each investment opportunity
  • Perform a comprehensive analysis of businesses, their industry, financial statements and credit quality for tenants occupying properties targeted for investment
  • Prepare detailed financial analyses to effectively model the each tenant's capital structure, downside risk, and performance on a historical and go forward basis
  • Perform in-depth real estate market research specific to investment opportunities to support/reject investment theses under consideration
  • Review leases, operating agreements, loan documents, budgets, and other diligence items
  • Prepare Investment Committee materials and presentation to the Investment Committee requesting investment and other required approval
  • Work on certain assignments such as tracking tenant financial performance, leasing and capital projects
  • Build and maintain detailed analyses related to asset performance
  • Build relationships and communicate professionally with brokers, developers, investment partners, consultants, legal and risk professionals

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field of study
  • Significant experience in real estate acquisitions preferably in the net lease and/or industrial/logistics sector
  • Expert ability to create, review and understand financial models in Excel and Argus Enterprise required
  • Team player with desire to contribute to a collaborative and constructive work environment
  • Strong negotiating skills with the ability to navigate nuances and complexity

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highest level of integrity and professionalism
