Job Description

The Vice President of Development will be responsible for supporting and developing a team focused on planning and monitoring key projects for the company. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Development budgeting and pro-forma analysis
  • Creating initial site and development plans
  • Coordinate with construction department in accurate pricing for projects
  • Maintain project schedules and financial reports for the development team
  • Interface with owners, architects, engineers, design consultants and other stake holders
  • Maintain total project budget responsibilities
  • Communicate with local jurisdiction and property owners in relation to prospective and current projects

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate as the Vice President of Development will have the following background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate, Engineering, Construction, Architecture or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in managing multi-family development projects
  • Well versed in project management, financial analysis, and other operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, organized and attentive to staff
  • Prior experience in a leadership position highly preferred
