Job Description

The Financial Modeling team sits within the Investment Bank's Corporate FP&A team in NYC. The VP, Financial Model Management will be responsible for the first-line framework, governance, and controls activities for the model life cycle. This individual, will partner with stakeholders across the business, FP&A, risk, MRM to assist with the transformation to ensure central governance for the models. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Ensure MRM framework compliance and quality controls are in place for the models
  • Fully document all developed models for use during reviews with senior management, model validation, internal/external audit, and regulatory bodies.
  • Translate and evaluate these models
  • Support adherence to MRM processes, controls, and compliance with model governance policies and procedures
  • Support Central oversight/coordination/project management of potential model impact assessments
  • Provide coordination for audit/regulatory reviews/control exams

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in financial services along with experience working in Treasury, FP&A, Tax, Controllers, Capital Planning etc.
  • Experience working with model risk management
  • Experience working with develop CCAR/PPNR/DFAST or Interest Rate Risk Models
  • Ability to interact with key business stakeholders
