Collaborating with front office colleagues, you'll analyze leveraged transactions, manage portfolios, and ensure compliance with credit policies, governance, and regulations. You'll also contribute to ongoing reporting and participate in internal projects.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and approve leveraged finance transactions such as LBOs, M&A, hold commitments; ensuring alignment with the company's risk appetite.Conduct thorough due diligence, lead financial modeling and valuation reviews, assess legal terms, and prepare detailed credit proposals for approval, presenting them to credit committees when necessary.Maintain close collaboration with front office colleagues and clients to manage a diverse portfolio of leveraged transactions, ensuring exposures are consistent with the company's risk tolerance.Ensure credit approval documents adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.Collaborate with the Industry Head, credit monitoring team, and front office to manage the hold book.Assist in audits and regulatory interactions, providing necessary reports.Manage various internal projects.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
