Job Description

Sales Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that drives revenue growth across both existing and new markets.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations.
  • Manage key customer relationships and provide strategic oversight for major accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  • Ensure a strong sales pipeline through proactive lead generation and partnership-building efforts.



Technical Operations Oversight:

  • Lead and optimize the technical operations, including engineering, manufacturing, and product development.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality standards in the design, development, and delivery of machinery products.
  • Oversee technical support teams to guarantee timely and effective resolution of customer issues and maintenance requests.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and drive improvements in cost management, quality assurance, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to reduce downtime, improve lead times, and streamline production.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders to align the company's overall strategy and ensure a seamless connection between sales and technical operations.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels between sales, engineering, production, and customer service teams.
  • Provide leadership in the development and implementation of new product lines or modifications to existing products.



Team Leadership and Development:

  • Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth through mentorship, training, and development programs.
  • Promote a customer-first mindset across both sales and technical teams, ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership and technical operations within the manufacturing or machinery industry.
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies that lead to significant revenue growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of machinery manufacturing processes, including engineering, production, and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, logistics, and operational best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
