Job Description

  • Lead and manage the sales department, ensuring the team is consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Drive the development and execution of sales forecasts, converting them into a backlog on a monthly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales goals align with company objectives.
  • Use CRM systems, including Hubspot, to track and analyze sales activities and performance.
  • Provide leadership in the development of sales proposals and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing techniques and best practices to drive B2B sales in a competitive market.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of key contracts and deals with clients.
  • Manage and nurture a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and achievement.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports and communicate insights.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or VP-level role.
  • Proven experience using CRM systems (Hubspot experience required).
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus but not required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B field sales and marketing best practices.
  • Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and selling tangible goods in competitive markets.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with e-commerce is a plus.
